In 1957, Blomberg led a new film expedition, this time to Brazilian territory, in a second feature film for Nordisk Tonefilm. From Rio de Janeiro as a center of operations, they visit Belem de Pará and the vaqueiros of Marajó, in the Amazon Delta. The following year they went to Barro de Ceará on the Atlantic coast where the jangadeiros fishermen of Fortaleza, to finish with the traditional human groups of Mato Grosso, such as the Xavante and the Carajá. From that long expedition, the feature film Jangada and the book Xavante result.
